Fiscal year is Jun 1st to May 31st.
- Any assessments which are not paid by May 31st are delinquent. If the assessment is paid within thirty (30) days after the due date no interest will be charged. If not paid by June 30th the assessment will be charged interest from the date of delinquency (June 1st) at the rate of ten percent (10%) per annum.
- If not paid by 30 days after June 30th (July 31st) the Board will then file a lien on the property in the office of the County Clerk, Crook County, within thirty (30) days after delinquency (July 1st). This will be the assessment amount, interest, administrative fees, any reasonable attorney's fees, and the cost of the filing. This lien may be enforced by the Association in the manner provided by law with respect to liens upon real property. Cost to file the Lien is $84 and to release the lien is another $84. ($168 added to the bill plus interest).
- If payment can not be made, contact President or Treasurer to set up payment arrangements, If the arrangements are not met, a lien will be filed.
- Upon payment in full (see above fees) the Board will file release of the lien.
- No owner may waive or otherwise escape liability for the assessments by abandonment of his dwelling unit, Lot or building site.
- The Association lien will be subordinate to any liens on mortgages and trusts.
- No sale or transfer of the property will relieve the lien. The total amount due will be attached to the net proceeds of the sale or transfer of the property.
